Requirements
1. ATTENDANCE: Regular class attendance. The attendance records make no distinction between excused and unexcused absences. You are responsible for the material covered in every class regardless of the reason for absence. In order to pass the course, students must attend at least two-thirds of the scheduled class sessions.. (For Huntington College policy, see catalog under "Class Attendance").
2. READING: Reading of all assigned material in the textbooks and other sources.
3. POP QUIZZES: Taking unannounced quizzes, which will occur frequently during the semester. Quizzes may cover anything recently covered in class or in the assignments. If you are absent for an unannounced quiz, it cannot be taken later. Your lowest quiz score will be dropped from your final total.
4. EXEGETICAL NOTEBOOK: During the second half of the course, notations from the assignments (Bible book study and Bible topic study) will be kept in a notebook, which will be reviewed by the prof from time to time.
5. EXAMS: Taking the midsemester and final exam. Makeup exams are different than the regular exams. (For Huntington College policy, see catalog under "Missed Examinations").
NOTE: Assignments must be done primarily by the student without extended help from others. Cheating and plagiarism will not be tolerated, and carry a penalty of an F for the assignment(s) or for the entire course. (For further details on Huntington College policy, see the college's "Statement on Academic Honesty" and "Statement on Plagiarism.")
